No Physical Card? No Problem! How to Get Mobile Suica on iPhone & Android

Welcome to Japan!

Since 2023, physical Suica cards have been hard to find at airports. But don’t worry! Your smartphone is the “Key” to seamless travel in Japan.

📱 For iPhone Users

1. Open Apple Wallet.
2. Tap the “+” icon (top right).
3. Select “Transit Card”.
4. Search for “Suica” and follow the instructions to add it.

🤖 For Android Users

You need a Japan-compatible (Osaifu-Keitai) model.

1. Open Google Wallet.
2. Tap “Add to Wallet”.
3. Select “Transit Pass” and choose “Suica”.
